A precious Award

I am humbly honoured to announce I have been awarded the Liebster Blog award from a wonderful writer, poet, blogger and all round generous lovely person Mr Peter Wilkin, whose words can be seen at http://peterwilkin1.blogspot.com/2012/02/cherished-award.html

My most grateful thanks Peter ~ I am really touched and appreciate you thinking of me.

The Liebster Blog Award originated in Germany (Liebster means “favourite” or “dearest” in German) In accepting this award, the recipient agrees to:

1. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
2. Reveal your top 5 picks for the award and let them know.
3. Post the award on your blog.
4. Bask in the love from the most supportive people in the blogosphere.
5. And, lastly – have fun and spread the karma!

So here goes for my five nominations in no particular order:

My first nomination goes to the wonderful Mrs Mediocrity @mrsmediocrity who fabulous poetry can be found here  http://www.mrsmediocrity.com/ I have already confessed to her my love of her poetry that seems to always have a way of touching me inside.

My second goes to another talented poet & writer Josh (aka Judge Whisky) who’s thought-provoking words can be read here http://judgewhisky.blogspot.com Josh’s tag line is ‘Somebody once accused me of being a poet.’ Well rightly so in mine and many others opinions.

My third is to the unforgettable Jacqueline Dick @fumanchucat, a writer and poet who will stretch your knowledge and understanding in ways you may not at first appreciate. Her beautiful poetry and writing can be read here: http://1emeraldcity.wordpress.com/  well worth a read.

My fourth is Jenny @gennepher a poet & artist I have followed on twitter since I first joined, her wonderful images and words can be seen here: http://gennepher-haiga.blogspot.com/ and here: http://gennepher.blogspot.com/please take a look at both.

My fifth nomination goes to Vince L Wilson @inVinceWil a poet who’s sharp and clever words I have admired for some time now, his wonderfully weaved poetry can be read here: http://vincewil.posterous.com/

I found chosing nominations difficult as I have so many wonderful people to choose from and so many have already been chosen. As I have been limited to 5 please know I would have happily nominated so many many more of you wonderful bloggers.
